Take This Vitamin to Repel Mosquitoes All Summer Long

The return of warm days also means the return of our least favorite pest: Mosquitoes. Fortunately, we’re here with a natural remedy that can help you combat the little biting buggers!Fortunately, you don’t have to suffer anymore, as new research suggests that vitamin B1 (thiamine) can change the way you smell on a micro-level, making your blood less attractive to mosquitoes – and thus, reduce your likelihood of bites…

B1 is found naturally in a wide range of foods, too, so it’s easy to get, but as it’s also water-soluble, taking extra can’t hurt you, meaning you can also take supplements and not need to worry about the potential for overdose, as your body natural flushes any extra when you urinate.
If you want to give it a try, we recommend 100 mg of B1 / thiamine each day; you should see results within a couple of weeks.
And if thiamine doesn’t work for you, we also have this all natural repellent that has worked well for us as well!

  • Tea tree oil
  • Lavender oil
  • Witch hazel
  • Cooled boiled water

  • Fill an 8oz. spray bottle halfway with boiling water (allow it to cool down first!)
  • Add ½ tsp of witch hazel
  • Add 15 drops of tea tree oil
  • Add 15 drops of lavender oil
  • Use as needed

And there you have it! Your very own, very effective, natural mosquito repellent! Be sure to tell us how good it works!
